Dater Montessori was the first LEED Gold renovation in Ohio. Eco-Leader students led the tour of their new as part of the Bioneers Conference in Cincinnati in 2009. Students continue to give tours of their Building as Teacher.

Teachers and their classrooms visit the Nature Center regularly. For a casual stroll or extended learning activities. ENCASE (Enjoying Nature Center As School Extension) volunteer program brings 500 students out for fun and learning each month.
The Outdoor features of our Nature Center include; Woodland, Arboretum, Meadow, Wetland, Food production gardens and more. Indoors we supply many resources and materials for follow on learning.
Community is a vital, dynamic part of the Dater Montessori Nature Center. We have so many organizations to thank. We offer community programs for families and friends seasonally, weekends and summer.
